This page is evolving, though considering the current scrutiny Scripture Union is finally receiving for introducing—it would appear with the blessing of Education Queensland—programmes supplied by the controversial Hillsong/Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church, we should begin by casting some light upon those programmes.

At the 'Shine Girl' website, the following statement is made:

"Shine is now run all over Australia, parts of the USA, part of the UK, Vietnam, South Africa and has just finished being translated to use in Kiev, Ukraine!"

Well folks, let's surf straight to Hillsong Kiev for a look at the true agenda of the Hillsong Shine programme—and remember—this is identical to the programme Education Queensland is allowing Scripture Union chaplains to conduct in Queensland state schools.

Here is the Shine overview:

In Bible God speaks about women a lot, always comparing the womanhood with pearls, precious stones, crown, glory:
God sees every girl, woman as brightly shining, bathing in rays of His Glory.

«A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies. »
(Proverbs 31:10)

«A worthy woman is the crown of her husband; »
(Proverbs 12:4)

The project, we present, is called "Shine", shows God's will for every woman on the Earth. Father created His daughters, in order they give a light, shine, be radiant with their womanhood for Him. And His will is to pass womanhood value to generations though counseling, when older sisters, mothers, friends teach the young to be womanly -

«that aged women likewise be ...teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, (to be) sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.»
(Titus 2:3-5)
Such counseling:

establishes relations between generations
allows women "to share" their womanhood
allows the aged to teach the young what is good
gives motherhood to the left (those, who have no mother or were just lost)

Fruit of such counseling is healthy relationships between women and healthy women, who have high self-appraisal and sense of dignity.

Which leads to screaming success stories such as this:

God has really made a great wonder through "Shine", because at this event girls from one of the elite schools of Kiev, rehabilitation centre for street children, three boarding schools for orphans, two secondary school of Kiev, orphanage were present. Nobody noticed the difference - all our princesses were shining as real daughters of the King! (we assume they're not referring to Elvis)
